This hand thrown stoneware vase takes its name from the living sea — a ruffled, undulating rim crowns the vessel like the tentacles of an anemone or the petals of a deep-water bloom. The glaze shifts from midnight blue to violet to deep indigo, pooling and flowing in a way that feels entirely alive.
Fired to cone 6 in an electric kiln, this piece works beautifully as a vase or as a standalone sculptural object.
